Little changes can make a big difference.
Little Change Creators is a Brisbane social enterprise using business as a force for good. We create thoughtful, reusable products that encourage kids to unplug, get creative and develop skills for life, while finding practical ways to make a positive difference for people and our planet.
Our purpose is simple: to inspire tomorrow’s changemakers through creative play and compassionate action.
For us, that means considering people and planet alongside profit in the decisions we make, from the products we design and the people who help us prepare them, to the materials we choose and the communities we support.
We focus our impact in three areas:
Creativity is about much more than making art. Creative play gives kids opportunities to experiment, solve problems, express themselves and build confidence.
Our screen-free colouring, learning and creative products are designed to make this kind of play easier for families and educators to enjoy at home, at school and on the go.
We also donate our products to charities, hospitals, community organisations and schools, helping more children experience the benefits of creative play, including those facing illness, disadvantage, isolation or challenging circumstances.
We believe the way a product is made matters too.
Little Change Creators partners with Brisbane social enterprise HELP Enterprises to assist with the assembly of our products. This partnership supports meaningful paid employment for people with disability while allowing more of our production process to happen locally.
We also choose Australian suppliers wherever practical, including producing our packaging in regional Victoria.
Kids may be little, but the future they’ll inherit is anything but.
We design products to be used again and again, helping families choose reusable creative tools over disposable alternatives. Durability and longevity are considered from the beginning of our design process because keeping products in play for longer helps reduce waste.
We also work to lessen our environmental footprint by:
- using reusable materials and designing products for long-term use
- choosing plastic-free packaging wherever possible
- using FSC-certified paper and card for our packaging
- printing our packaging in regional Victoria using vegetable-based inks through a carbon-neutral printing process
- using recycled materials where suitable, including recycled PET in our Re-CRAFT-able™ carry bags
- favouring sea freight over air freight for international shipments wherever practical
- minimising unnecessary packaging and shipping materials
- finding recycling and reuse solutions for products and components that have reached the end of their useful life
We know sustainability is never a finished job. We continue to look for better materials, processes and partnerships as our business grows.
Little Change Creators is a profit-for-purpose social enterprise. While earning revenue keeps our business financially sustainable, generating
private profit is not our only reason for operating.
We are committed to reinvesting the majority of any surplus towards achieving our social and environmental purpose.
This helps us extend our impact through initiatives such as product donations, inclusive employment and social procurement, community projects, responsible and more sustainable business practices, and the development of products that support children while reducing reliance on disposable alternatives.
As a trading social enterprise, we generate the majority of our income through the sale of products and services. This allows us to create
impact through the everyday operation and growth of our business, rather than relying on charitable donations to fund our work.
One of the ways we share our social impact with families is through our Impact Token, included in every core Little Change Creators product.
Each purchase contributes to our Impact Tally. When the tally reaches a milestone, we donate another batch of products to children who could use some extra creativity and joy in their lives.

We monitor our social and environmental impact so we can understand where we’re making a difference and identify opportunities to do better.
This includes tracking our community giving, social procurement and inclusive employment activities, responsible sourcing practices and environmental initiatives.
The scale and nature of our impact changes as our business and projects evolve. Rather than measuring success by one number alone, we look at how our decisions contribute to our purpose across the business.
Our impact has included:
- partnering with a social enterprise to support meaningful employment for people with disability
- donating reusable creative products to charities, hospitals, schools and community organisations
- supporting children and families experiencing illness, disadvantage and challenging circumstances
- developing reusable products designed to reduce reliance on disposable creative materials
- choosing responsible packaging, production and freight options wherever practical
- collaborating on projects that use creativity and learning to create positive outcomes for children and communities
We maintain records of our social and environmental activities and review our impact as part of our ongoing commitment as a social enterprise.
Little Change Creators is proud to be a People and Planet First verified social enterprise.
People and Planet First is a global verification standard for enterprises that exist to solve a social or environmental problem, prioritise purpose, people and planet in their operations, have a self-sustaining revenue model, reinvest the majority of surplus towards their purpose, and choose structures that protect that purpose for the long term.
For us, verification is more than a badge. It’s independent recognition of the kind of business we’re committed to building.
We don’t pretend one little business can change the world on its own.
But we do believe businesses can make better choices, families can make more conscious choices, and kids can grow up knowing that kindness, creativity and caring for our planet matter.
Every product made to last, every opportunity created, every donation and every child encouraged to create is another little change.
And little changes add up.
