  • Little Change Creators Recognised with Local Legends Award at Source Disability Expo

    July 06, 2026 2 min read

We're incredibly honoured to share that Little Change Creators was presented with the Local Legends Award at the 2026 Source Disability Expo in Brisbane.

The award was presented by Emma Price and Naomi Sirianni from the Source Collective in recognition of our contribution to the Brisbane and South East Queensland communities, particularly our support for families and children with disabilities.

The two-day expo brought together families, carers, support providers and businesses from across the disability sector, creating a fantastic opportunity to connect with our community and showcase our reusable, screen-free activities for kids. It was wonderful to meet so many inspiring people, hear their stories and see first-hand how our products are helping make creative play more accessible and enjoyable for families. Source Disability Expo is one of Australia's largest disability expos, connecting people with products, services and support to help them live their best lives.

Little Change Creators receives the Local Legend Award at the Source Disability Expo in Brisbane.

Receiving the Local Legends Award was a genuine surprise and a very special moment for our small Brisbane team. As a People + Planet First verified social enterprise, creating positive change has always been at the heart of everything we do. From designing reusable products that reduce waste, to partnering with HELP Enterprises to assemble our products, we're passionate about making creativity more accessible while creating meaningful social impact.

Our founder, Paige McInnes, said the award was especially meaningful because it recognised the purpose behind the business.

"Little Change Creators was built on the belief that small changes can make a big difference. We want to make life a little easier for families by creating fun, reusable activities that encourage creativity without relying on screens. To have that work recognised, particularly for the positive impact we're making for children with disabilities and their families, is incredibly humbling."

The award follows another special milestone during the expo, where we were proud to donate a collection of our reusable products to All Abilities Australia, helping more children access engaging, screen-free creative play.

We're incredibly grateful to Emma, Naomi and the entire Source Collective team for this recognition, and to everyone who stopped by our stand over the two days. Your encouragement, conversations and support continue to inspire us to keep creating products that are good for families, good for the community and good for the planet.

Thank you for being part of our journey!
